Aligning digital with strategy, mission and values

This workshop focuses on how you can harness the use of digital to deliver against your goals and overcome challenges with the resources you have available to you.
The session will help you recognise which elements of an existing digital or technology approach need review and how to start to sketch an approach that is aligned to your business/organisation strategy.
The workshop will cover:
- What is a Digital Strategy
- What are the characteristics of an effective digital strategy
- What might an ineffective Digital Strategy look like
- Assessing the scope of your Digital Strategy - considering digital platforms, back office systems and digital services - and how you decide to prioritise them
- Understanding the alignment between Organisational Vision and Objectives and Digital Strategy
- Introducing the steps to developing a Measurable and Clear Digital Strategy
You’ll come away from the session being able to:
- Understand what makes a good strategy overall and a digital strategy
- Identify the key success factors for embedding and delivering your digital strategy
- Review and outline areas in your organisation that can be refreshed with digital

You can only apply if you are a Heritage organisations that classifies under one or more of the following: Collections, Community Heritage, Landscapes and Nature, Industrial Maritime and Transport, Culture and Memories, Historic Buildings and Monuments
Only micro - medium-sized organisations can apply. We ask that those who have a turnover of over £3 million per year do not apply.
There are only 25 slots available for this module. Not showing up means that you are taking the spot of another heritage organisation that would have needed it.
