Engagement and outreach with youth audiences

What is the webinar about?

The Heritage sector is seeking to engage youth audiences, not just as traditional visitors to heritage sites and projects, but as volunteers, supporters, and trustees. Small heritage organisations are often volunteer-led and lack the digital skills to capture a younger generation’s attention. Reaching out to a younger audience can therefore feel challenging.

This webinar will support your organisation by helping you to build on your well-established community presence and extend that community to engage young people in the digital world.

Who is the webinar for?

This webinar is vital for anyone who needs to learn more about engaging with youth audiences, including but not limited to community managers, social media managers, and digital communication managers.

Why attend?

During this session, participants will:

  • Learn about the most effective platforms for targeting a younger audience
  • Understand what content works for younger audiences
  • Learn about key factors that create an engaged online community
  • Learn how to use data to improve the performance of digital content
