We’re excited to announce #BeMoreDigital Leadership day - a free online event featuring 10 hours of expert-led content on digital leadership
Charity Digital’s #BeMoreDigital Leadership Day takes place on the 25th of June.
This online event will include 10 hours of completely free, expert-led content to help charities improve their digital leadership skills.
If the last few months and the COVID-19 pandemic have highlighted one thing for the charity sector, it’s the importance of digital leadership. Technology has been integral to the success that many charities have seen in moving service delivery and fundraising online - and it is charities with strong digital leadership that has made this possible. In many cases, it has been the difference between success and failure.
This digital leadership will be even more important in the coming weeks and months, as we transition into the next phase of lockdown and continue to build on the digital lessons we’ve learnt.
Even before COVID-19 changed everything for the UK charity sector, digital leadership was one of the most prominent emerging trends in the sector. We dedicated a whole strand to it at our March #BeMoreDigital conference, and the whole day was dedicated to the digital leadership we can all demonstrate by taking responsibility for small digital actions within our own organisation.
#BeMoreDigital Leadership day will help to equip charities with the skills and tools they need to make this period of transition a success and carry forward recent digital innovations into a successful future.
Sessions on the day will cover a number of pertinent topics, ranging from safeguarding against the advanced cyber criminals of the dark web to keeping a remote workforce engaged and motivated. Other sessions will cover the importance of data-driven decision making, using inclusive recruiting practices to overcome a skills shortage and building a digital strategy to thrive in a post-COVID-19 landscape.
