Digital agency to give away website build grants

Digital agency White Fuse has announced that it is to give away a £5,000 grant each month to help a charity transform its website or get online for the first time.
Explaining why they are providing the grants, the agency said on its website: “Having worked with charities since 2008 we know how hard it is for charities to get funding for digital projects
"Alongside our paid work with charities we invest in the sector by offering a limited number of charity website grants
each year to small and medium sized organisations to help them achieve what they otherwise wouldn't be able to afford.”
The announcement has been timed to coincide with the launch of the agency’s new platform to help charities build websites.
It went on to add that the grants are for small and medium sized charities/nonprofits in the UK, Canada and US with a turnover of less than £1m. The funding covers setup costs of the website including content strategy, design, development and launch to a value of £5,000. The charity will need to cover the support and maintenance costs on a monthly basis.
