The NSPCC has revamped online promotion of its child protection training and information service.
The information was previously available across around 500 pages within the charity’s main website but has now been moved into one dedicated space, under the heading NSPCC Learning
The move has been taken to increase its reach among the service’s key audience of professionals who work with children and young people. It is also hoped the upgrade will make it easier for visitors to navigate information as well as buy NSPCC products and services.
The child protection training information overhaul has been carried out by WPN Chameleon
, which is a digital strategy partner of the charity.
“WPNC quickly got to grips with our project and I was impressed both by their knowledge of our sector and their ability to come up with creative digital solutions. They played a crucial role in the launch of NSPCC Learning, helping us to reach, engage and educate professionals on how to effectively keep children and young people safe,” said Paul White, NSPCC Learning Digital Lead.
Improving customer intelligence
Vicky Reeves, Managing Director Digital, WPNC, added: “NSPCC Learning is a key service for the NSPCC, so it was important for all of the crucial information professionals need to be available in one place.
“We used Umbraco as the CMS which also has allowed NSPCC to improve customer intelligence and analytics.
“We’ve worked on many projects with the charity as a digital partner, from fundraising to service delivery, and we were delighted to be asked to help rationalise the huge amount of learning advice it has available online.”
