Software provider The Access Group
has announced a recent acquisition of Joyful
, a suite of tools for creating interactive charity websites, marketing online, and enabling effective fundraising.
The Access Group provides cloud-based software that connects suites of finance and HR applications integrated with industry-specific solutions. Its charity offering lets non-profit organisations more quickly and accurately analyse fundraising performance and easily compile comprehensive reports.
Joyful is a supplier of non-profit donor and member attraction website software with more than ten years' experience serving charity and membership organisations. The SaaS company also is a Google Ad Grant partner in the UK and has a Google Ads Marketing tool for charities. Joyful uses machine learning capabilities to magnify a charity’s reach and engagement.
Chris Bayne, CEO of Access, said: “Access is excited to welcome Joyful into our family. The addition of Joyful further strengthens our not-for-profit suite and our overall presence in this market. We look forward to deepening our relationship with Joyful’s customers over coming months and years, while further supporting them to serve their chosen causes."
Equipping the charity sector
The latest acqusition is part of The Access Group's further growth into the charity market. Prior to the acquisition of Joyful, Access purchased Rapidata
in November 2018, which was at the time was a leading provider of SaaS based website technology platforms for charities and membership organisations.
Of the Rapidata transaction, Chris Bayne, CEO Access Group, said: “With the UK direct debit payments market alone exceeding 4bn transactions last year and with nine in every ten UK adults having at least one direct debit, we expect significant uptake of the Rapidata solution."
"Initially we will focus on integrating payments processing capabilities for our existing Not-For-Profit customers where Rapidata has years of experience. However, in the near future we will extend the capability to other sectors including Education and Health & Social Care, where we believe there is a desire for these capabilities."
Access also recently announced the launch of its new platform, Access Workspace
, which connects and encourages collaborative working, bringing together the departments across the organisation from fundraising, volunteers, finance, HR, IT and compliance.
