Staged on November 29, Cyber Monday is an extension of the annual pre-Christmas discount event Black Friday and focuses on exciting offers and bargains around digital and online products as well as hardware.
Many deals are already advertised ahead of Cyber Monday but charities looking for good deals are advised to check in early on the day itself with retailers, to keep up to date with the latest deals and whether they are offering any flash sales early on.
With increasing interest in Black Friday, there are also likely to be tech deals that day and over the weekend.
Here we look at some of the best deals available to charities around Cyber Monday. This includes offers via Charity Digital, as well as those being advertised by websites and retailers including Amazon, Dell, and Software Suggest.
Cloud-based business phone system CallHippo is offering 25% off its platinum plan. This software as a service (SaaS) offers charities the opportunity to receive and make calls and can be set up within minutes. It also offers data insights to improve efficiency of calls.
Another SaaS to improve call centre and call efficiency is Enthu.ai, which on Cyber Monday is offering 30% off deals. Among the benefits of Enthu is the ability to swiftly tackle any errors and mistakes, such as miss-selling. This uses artificial intelligence driven speech analytics. It says its service can lead to a 35% increase in conversion rate.
Charities looking to improve their search engine optimisation (SEO) can get support from software such as GetKeywords. This helps organisations to better understand their audiences and better target them through keywords online. Get Keywords is offering a 25% off deal on Cyber Monday.
Another online SEO tool to support charities and other organisations is Labrika, which is offering 50% off its plans for Cyber Monday. This AI led service checks critical factors in SEO and provides its findings to charities in a detailed report.
Function Fox specialises in providing timesheets and project management software to organisations and is offering 50% off on various deals around Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Anker is offering 30% off its conference microphone and speaker the Anker Speaker PowerConf S3. This sees its £89.99 price reduced to £62.99, via Amazon.
Amazon has also a variety of deals on podcasting microphones, including £44 off a Rode NT – USB Microphone, £10 off the price of Elgato Wave:3 and £23 off a HyperX QuadCast microphone.
Retailer Laptops Direct has a number of offers around Cyber Monday. This includes 30% off the price of refurbished laptops, PCs, and monitors, as well a 20% discount off new laptops. Other discounts for phones, CCTV and tablets are also available.
Some of the Apple deals we have already spotted include a price cut from £239 to £199 for Apple Airpods with a MagSafe charging case. These have a noise cancelling function and enhanced sound. Meanwhile, Three.co.uk is offering half price deal on a iPhone13 pro contract, from £71 to £35.50 a month. Elsewhere, Very.co.uk is offering £200 off an Apple MacBook air.

A 12-month subscription to Avast Business Antivirus is available to charities for just £6.00 + VAT to protect them from cyber threats, such as malware and phishing emails.
Computer firm Dell is offering savings for charities of up to 35% on business technology equipment around Black Friday. To guarantee access to offers around Black Friday, charities must complete a request by 5pm on 24 November 2021.
There is a wide range of discount and donation offers for charities on Microsoft’s cloud and software products for charities. This includes a discount on Office for Mac, Office Professional Plus, and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration User Client ML.
Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 for Mac and Windows are available for charities via the Charity Digital Exchange at £45 plus VAT.
Idloom is an events registration platform to help charities manage events, including seminars and webinars. Services through this online product include creating multi page event websites, attendee management, payment processing as well as generating invoices and booking hotel rooms. This is being donated to charities for 12 months.
