An inspiring new event for charities launches in October, with a theme of diversity, inclusion, change and transformation.
A new event for UK charities launched by Salesforce.org, the non-profit CRM platform, promises to help charities drive transformative change and accelerate their missions through digital. DOT org takes place on October 2nd in London and offers a packed day of inspiration, practical advice and thought leadership from speakers including Unicef, The Salvation Army, War Child UK, Charities Aid Foundation and NPC - Charity Digital News readers get an exclusive discount on tickets for a limited time. Headlining the event is presenter and campaigner June Sarpong, with her keynote on how charities can change society for the better and build a more sustainable future for the sector by being true champions for diversity.
The day’s agenda includes sessions based around three themes: Develop, Optimise and Transform. Charities have the opportunity to hear first-hand how they can ’develop’ new strategies around digital skills and tools that will help them do more good, ’optimise’ their performance and drive efficiency, and ’transform’ the way they think by hearing from thought leaders and organisations pushing the boundaries of what they can achieve. Expect thought leadership, hands-on learning, a virtual reality experience and much more. Attendees also have the chance to participate in specially designed networking opportunities for charities to connect with peers from across the sector.
