2019 was a huge year for Charity Digital. We’ve undergone our own digital transformation, held our first tech conference, launched the inaugural Digital Fundraising Day, and even launched our own podcast.
We don’t just write about digital transformation - we’ve undergone one of our own. Beginning with our rebrand, our digital strategy has helped us to engage with audiences on a deeper level, as well as to communicate new ideas across social media.
This transformation will continue into 2020 as we move to a new website. Our new data-driven site will help us continue in our mission to make digital principles, technology and culture available to charities of all sizes.
We launched our first-ever Tech Conference - and it was a resounding success!
We wanted to have a wider impact, and to offer a programme of educational resources to charities looking to increase their use of tech. We will be launching an even larger tech conference in 2020 with our #BeMoreDigitalConference.
Thursday the 7th of November was Digital Fundraising Day. We welcomed a panel of charity leaders and digital gurus for an informative day of webinars, podcasts and videos highlighting the present importance and future impact of digital fundraising. The day saw a great online turnout, but those of you who missed it can catch up with highlights and content from the day.
We were thrilled to launch our very own podcast!
The new Charity Digital Podcast series will look into key topics and issues surrounding digital technology in the charity sector, including digital ethics, strategy and the future of data-driven technology.
