Being data-informed means considering the insights from your data alongside other factors, as part of your organisation’s decision making. The shift to being a (more) data-informed organisation is as much a cultural change, as it is a technical one.
So how can social sector organisations become more data-informed? How can they get the best out of their data, and what are best practices for integrating analysis and insight into your day to day practices?
DataKind UK’s CEO Giselle Cory is excited to lead a discussion between three different voices who have experience in this area. Naomi Louise is the Chair of Therapy 4 Healing, which provides health and wellbeing services to people with long-term health conditions across South East England. Lauren Balleara is Chief Impact and Strategy Officer of The Brilliant Club, a charity that helps disadvantaged students. Dan Barrett is Head of Data Science at national advice organisation Citizens Advice.
The panel will discuss some of the challenges, learnings, and joys of moving your organisation into a more data-informed space. It’s a chance to hear from those who’ve been there and done that, and reflect on your own organisational culture.
