Latest edition of popular annual charity guide released in time for end-of-year campaign planning
Blackbaud Europe, a fundraising software partner for social good organisations, launched the latest edition of their toolkit this week. The toolkit outlines seven key steps which, when used together, will help charities to have a strategic approach to capturing the generosity of the season – something which is essential as last year 18% of all giving took place in December alone.
Throughout the toolkit, charities will discover resources, expert insights and practical tips that are designed to engage not just existing supporters, but also lapsed donors and new prospects too. That’s why the eBook also emphasises the importance of creating a well-thought-out supporter stewardship journey.
“Despite the disruption to “normal” fundraising activities throughout the past six months, there are strong indicators that supporters will be just as generous, if not more so, as they were last December. By using the practical advice set out in the End-Of-Year Toolkit, charities will be able to make sure that they’re prepared for every opportunity that 2020 has left to offer. Plus, if done right, a great winter appeal or Christmas campaign can bring supporters even closer to a cause, helping charities to solidify their relationships and start 2021 in an even stronger position.”
- Casper Harratt, Director of Marketing at Blackbaud Europe
From cleaning up your database, telling your story, embracing a multichannel mindset and setting out a stewardship journey – the toolkit covers content for those who are new to creating end-of-year campaigns and those who have been working across the third sector for years. It also shares suggestions of how charities can embrace the digital landscape to integrate virtual channels into this year’s activities.
