In our latest video, Alice Kershaw, Head of Digital Transformation at The Wildlife Trusts, shares her experience and learnings on using artificial intelligence responsibly as a charity
The Wildlife Trusts federation’s purpose is to bring wildlife back, to empower people to take meaningful action for nature, and to create an inclusive society where nature matters. Among the first charities to use artificial intelligence (AI) in their service delivery through the Space4Nature programme and others, the federation has taken a strategic, measured approach to AI.
Alice Kershaw told us: “Effectively the Wildlife Trusts has been using variations on AI for quite a while. We’ve got a big, innovative way of working because we’ve got 46 different organisations, so people are trying lots of different things, and we’ve been using machine learning across a number of different projects.”
