🔶 12.25pm - 1.05pm - The ethics of artificial intelligence - Matt Haworth, Director at Reason Digital
While AI is a technology that sparks the imagination, it also harbours numerous ethical issues that can’t be ignored: bias, interpretability, labour conditions, copyright and GDPR, environmental effect, misinformation, malinformation, and empowering bad actors.
In the charity sector, we care about doing the right thing – and this session will show you how in the brave new world of AI.
🔶 1.40pm - 2.20pm - A road-map to AI adoption - Zoe Amar, CEO at Zoe Amar Digital

How can AI support us across the many different stages of a supporter journey? These are among the questions included in Zoe Amar Digital’s AI Checklist for charity trustees and leaders.

🔶 4.25pm - 5.05pm - How charities can leverage Copilot across the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem - Tory Cassie, Director of Nonprofit at mhance
During this session, mhance will explore how charities can benefit from Copilot and AI in Dynamics 365, driving efficiencies across fundraising, help desk services, advisory support, and finance operations to maximise impact and streamline processes.
🔶 5.05pm - 5.30pm - Networking
Panel Discussions:
🔶 11.20am - 12.20pm - A Guide to using AI responsibly
For charities using AI, responsibility is essential. It means safeguarding those who use our services, who work in our teams, and who donate to our causes. It means protecting our organisations’ reputation and remaining trusted. And most of all, it means standing up for what’s right in the rapidly shifting digital age.
But where to start? This panel discussion of AI and charity sector experts will explore practical, people-centred approaches to AI, bringing together knowledge from digital inclusion to environmental protection, and empowering you to navigate AI’s ever-evolving landscape with integrity.
🔶 2.25pm - 3.25pm - How to use AI for service delivery
Service delivery is the bread and butter of charities’ work: it is the very reason they exist. But with new AI technologies in the mix, how charities deliver their services could be up for change. In 2024, 15% of charities are already using AI tools somewhere in their service delivery, according to the Charity Digital Skills Report.
But considering the diversity of charity services, what does this actually look like?
In this panel, two charities and AI experts will share the ways AI can make improvements for both charitable organisations and the communities they serve, from creating simple everyday efficiencies, to increasing impact on a larger scale – all without losing the human touch.
We are also running two workshops outside of the main streams:
How non-profits can meet their mission with AI with Alister Jones, Managing Director, Data & AI and Jodie Rodgers, Chief AI Officer at Transparity (10.15am - 11.15am)
From fundraising to day-to-day operations, AI holds the potential to reduce the burdens on NFP teams and allow you to do more with less. Join us to discuss the AI opportunity and the potential for radical change in your not-for-profit.
This workshop is aimed at a select target audience including the following job titles:
