Placing an Order

Charity Digital Exchange provides donated tech products from partners like Microsoft, Symantec and Cisco to eligible charitable organisations via an online shop.

If your organisation is registered with Charity Digital Exchange and we’ve confirmed that it meets the required eligibility criteria for at least one of our partners, please see our partners’ entitlement guidelines before placing an order. There, you’ll be able to find out: how many products you can order, how often, minimum order quantities, etc.

To request donations, log in to the online shop using your organisation’s username and password. If you have forgotten your password, click on the ’Reset Password’ link on the right of the screen.

Then, you can browse the product catalogue to see a list of available products with associated admin fees or discounted fees. You can click on an item to see more information.

To request a donation, just add it to your cart and proceed to checkout when you’re ready. You can view the items in your cart at any time.

Please note: Any "Get Genuine" product from Microsoft must be put through on its own as a separate order.

At checkout, you’ll be provided with a summary of your order and confirmation of your delivery address (this is an email address for software downloads). Our partners generally require that goods are delivered to an organisation’s registered address.

Exceptions: Certain partners may permit goods to be delivered to a different address, provided confirmation of the delivery address is given in writing by a Trustee or Director of your organisation. Please see delivery address for further information.

Once you’ve checked your order is correct and have edited your delivery address if necessary and permissible by the partner whose products you are requesting, you can proceed to payment.

Payments can be made by credit or debit card via PayPal - a secure card payments service.

As soon as you’ve submitted your order, you’ll see an order confirmation page that you can print out. You’ll also receive two emails:

  1. Order Confirmation
  2. Order Summary

All orders are subject to approval. In the event that your order cannot be accepted, you’ll receive immediate advice and an automatic refund of the administrative fee.

Upon approval, you can expect to receive your order as outlined in order fulfilment.
