Achieving and measuring success through contactless innovation
We know that the key to a successful campaign is supporter engagement, but how can we achieve this through innovative contactless technology?
The Third Sector has had to be incredibly resilient these past few years, with uncertainty seemingly at every corner . An increasingly cashless society paired with economic difficulties across the UK, has meant many charities have needed to adapt quickly to survive.
We’ve noticed a sense of urgency within the sector, to make the digital transition . Charities are now expected to provide a range of inclusive fundraising solutions, including in-situ, contactless donations . But with a wide range of solutions to consider and ever-changing donor habits , charities often find themselves overwhelmed when deciding what to invest in.
In this session, we will discuss:
What to look for when choosing the right solutions for your organisation
The benefits of revolutionising your donation collection through tech
How contactless innovation can lend itself to re-igniting donor relationships.
The question is no longer ‘do we need contactless?’ but ‘how can we gain more from it?’

Panel session: Honest reflections: What does it need to make funding for digital the new normal?
The landscape of digital funding for charities is riddled with challenges, characterised by a patchwork of fragmented resources that are difficult to access. While there are focused efforts from a small number of grant makers and funders to reimagine digital funding strategies, we see a time lag between these early adopters and the wider funding community.
The truth remains that the problems are deeply rooted in the system.
Dot Project advocates for fundamental changes on multiple fronts. First and foremost, there is a pressing need for a redesign of funding mechanisms, ensuring they are more inclusive, streamlined, and accessible. Equally important is the necessity for organisations to gain a comprehensive understanding of digital costs, demystifying complexities that often deter them from seeking digital funding. Community involvement and participation in grant-making processes is vital.
This panel discussion brings together funders and charities to discuss:
What are the barriers to providing funding for digital?
What needs to happen to respond to these barriers?
How do we move ideas into reality?
Where is change happening? How might it happen faster?
