How does it work?

Digital Transformation Week was a week of free, live and on-demand content for charities. Over the course of the five days, we released a variety of content including webinars, podcasts and articles inside the Digital Transformation Hub, our exclusive content zone. Inside the Hub, you can find webinars, podcasts, tools and resources from the week, which you can still access and engage with.

Each day followed a different theme relevant to digital transformation: Digital Strategy, Digital Challenges, Leadership and Culture, Digital Fundraising and Small Charities. You can navigate the content from each day inside the Hub by clicking on the different dates Please note, you must be logged in and registered with Charity Digital to access the Hub.

Why access content inside the Hub?

Digital Transformation Week content has been tailored specifically with the sector’s most pressing concerns in mind. Each theme caters to a different area of digital transformation and you can engage with whichever content suits your needs, whenever suits you.

The Hub offers content to suit all incomes, charity sizes and job functions, honing in on the most important digital areas for charities right now. A variety of on-demand content is available to help you gain the knowledge and build the skills you need to move forward with digital confidence. What’s it all about?

As a year of rapid digital transformation for charities comes to an end, digital is in so many different places for charities. Some are knee-deep in digital projects and working hard to upskill teams, while others are now in a place to kick start their digital transformation project – defining their digital pillars and seeking board buy-in. This week of content examined the challenges, trends and actions needed to achieve digital transformation in 2022. With five different themes, you can pick and choose the parts of digital transformation that match their needs most, engage with various content types and other like-minded charities along the way.

We’ve always believed that digital transformation is what drives charities forward. Digital transformation isn’t about huge overhauls or buying the most expensive software, it’s just about being more digital in every way you can, no matter where you are with digital or what your journey looks like. This will be different for every charity, and during this week we want to discuss the challenges charities may face, where they’ve found success and how they can set themselves up to excel with digital going forward.

With this in mind, we developed the five key themes which you can read about below.

Content themes

The five themes are:

Monday 14th March: Digital Strategy

The Digital Strategy content is best suited for any charities who are interested in developing a digital strategy or improving their existing one in the coming financial year.

Resources cover: how to write one, factors to consider, getting sign-off and much more!

Tuesday 15th March: Digital Challenges

Digital Challenges is all about addressing the challenges charities are facing with digital transformation and how to overcome them. Content is relevant for organisations of all shapes and sizes who want to learn from other charities and gain useful insight into the challenges we’ve forecasted in the months and years ahead.

Resources cover financial challenges, cyber security risks and awarenesses, social media struggles and so much more!

Wednesday 16th March: Leadership & Culture

This one is for the charity leaders! Content under this theme is aimed specifically at more senior charity professionals and board members or trustees.

Resources cover team buy-in, employee wellbeing, up-skilling, board tools and more!

Thursday 17th March: Digital fundraising

Digital Fundraising is one of the most important aspects of digital transformation for charities. Content for this theme is suitable for all charity professionals working or interested in fundraising, including those working in marketing and communications roles.

Resources cover platforms, fundraising campaigns, trends, grant funding and even more!

Friday 18th March: Small Charities

Lastly, there’s content dedicated to smaller organisations. We’ve got articles, templates and more aimed specifically at small charity digital transformation, all inside the Hub.

Resources cover digital audits and digital strategies for smaller organisations, social media, small charity cyber security and so much more!
