Workshop: Overcoming barriers to digital inclusion
The digital inclusion movement responds to the widening inequalities of an increasingly digitised world. It tackles diverse challenges, from providing access to otherwise unaffordable technologies to supporting local communities to build their digital skills.
All the while, technology is developing rapidly, requiring charities to stay tech-savvy and constantly adjust to the needs of those who are most excluded by all this change.
Systems thinking can help us better adapt within such complex, changing environments. This workshop, in partnership with Dell, will explore new approaches to overcome challenges identified by attendees and drive impact towards digital inclusion.
The workshop is designed for charities driving digital inclusion at the local level.
The workshop will cover:
- An overview of the biggest digital inclusion challenges faced by attendees
- An introduction to systems thinking in the context of these challenges
- Prompts and discussion to help you overcome barriers in your mission of digital inclusion
