Originally known as Charity Checkout and Primo Events, donations, fundraising, and events experts Enthuse have partnered with Charity Digital since 2020 to deliver vital expertise to the charity sector on everything from event stewardship to donor trends.
Since then, Enthuse has grown considerably, becoming the official partner of London Marathon Events official partner of London Marathon Events (which include TCS London Marathon and the Royal Parks Half) and the AJ Bell Great North Run in 2022. Using Enthuse’s unique fundraising insights, Charity Digital has been able to create compelling content to help the charity sector make informed decisions about all aspects of their digital fundraising.
Charity Digital recently decided to ask partners about their experience working with us. Below is Enthuse’s response, detailing results from their campaign, the overall impact, and much more.
Enthuse: To begin with, we wanted to grow brand awareness and drive direct response – in order to do this, they needed as broad a reach as possible. Charity Digital was brilliant. The team fits in with Enthuse’s values (enthusiastic, curious, reliable) and are transparent with reporting, while offering a broad portfolio of sponsorable formats.
Crucially, Charity Digital is also digital-first, like Enthuse. This became even more important during COVID-19. Charities needed us at the time as they needed to flip everything. COVID-19 meant that charities could no longer rely on cash donations and charity shops, grants were suspended; charities were setting up emergency appeals and they needed a fast digital partner. This is where we came in.
At Enthuse, everything is digital, the platform as well as most of the marketing activities. Choosing Charity Digital brought even more authenticity to our brand. Charity Digital is one of our key partners in helping to build brand awareness and growth. Charity Digital have been instrumental in achieving these aims.
Enthuse: Some of our big successes have been through Charity Digital’s events, including Digital Fundraising Day 2021 and the Be More Digital conferences in 2022 and 2023. Events like these helped to facilitate plenty of important conversations with key charity stakeholders for Enthuse.
In March 2023, we were pleased to sponsor a fundraising panel at the Be More Digital conference. Enthuse constantly has fresh insights and data, and being able to talk about these with charities and be seen as a thought leader is very
important. Many conference attendees came to see us after our session and booked demos to learn more.
In general, we book a good number of demos via our work with Charity Digital. Charity Digital content actively drove 26 successful demo bookings since October 2021 and influenced many others; not only that, we have also seen more than 400 leads come through the partnership.
Enthuse: Charity Digital is great at providing top-of-funnel leads and expanding our Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) database. Charity Digital consistently drives demo bookings too.
Enthuse: Charity Digital is a pleasure to work with. Charity Digital’s events are always a success as they vet their content. The content Charity Digital produces is of very good quality, requiring minimal changes during feedback. They are also always open to new sponsorable formats, such as round tables or focus groups.
