Are there any restrictions/limitations to what you can do to a pdf document that you open in Adobe Express?

 

Adobe Express supports PDF document import and export, and within Express you would be able to add further graphics, text, and images to develop your document design further. 

 

 

I work with graphics primarily, rather than photographs. In photoshop I use the colour picker, bucket fill and paint tool a lot - are these capabilities available in Adobe Express?

 

Yes, a paint tool, colour picker tool, and eye-dropper tool are all available in Adobe Express.

 

 

Are there any inbuilt accessibility tools eg to check colour contrast readability?

 

 We have some great accessibility tools for contrasts & colours here: color.adobe.com/. Direct link here: color.adobe.com/create/color-contrast-analyzer There are also colour checkers within Adobe Express which you can use to check your document as you’re creating it.

 

 

How will Adobe Express ensure copyright and royalty-free licensing, in particular uploading your own audio file?

 

Assets that are imported into Adobe Express need to be licensed prior to import. There are also assets included within Adobe Express that are ready for you to use in your projects. 

 

 

I am the only person at my charity currently that does design and video work and I have a creative cloud licence so I’m mainly using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere for this. I would like to use Express more for social content but we are also looking to upskill so other colleagues can create too. Before my role existed, staff were using Canva to create graphics and although the brand colours and logo had been loaded in, there was not a cohesive style (usually too much going on) and the Instagram grid clashed. What is the best way to set this up to give some creative freedom, but set parameters to ensure what is created is on brand beyond just colours and logo? Would it be a case of just creating templates in there with our other assets as a starting point?

 

In Adobe Express you can create templates, save your templates, and share your templates with other members of your team. You can also leverage co-editing features in Adobe Express Beta to speed up your processes and collaboration. Another great advantage of Adobe Express is that you can take advantage of the Adobe ecosystem and utilise brand assets saved within Creative Cloud libraries. 

 

 

Is there any future thoughts to creating perhaps short presentation on individual elements of Express please?

 Is it possible to record a video direct from laptop cam in Adobe Express, to add into a longer video with graphics later?

 

This is not available at this time. 

 

 

Does it have international graphics such as fairy cake?

 

Yes, the Adobe Stock assets collection is a truly global and international asset collection which feeds into Adobe Express.

 

 

Can you create a logo sting at all? Animate the logo to use at the end/start of videos?

 

Yes, animation features combined with in-built video graphics would enable you to create an animated logo sting.

 

 

When will the Adobe Express mobile app incorporate the Beta features?

 

Both versions are now available, but we do not have a specific date for a full release.

 

Can you export animated assets into Lottie format?

 

No
