Charity Digital has announced the appointment of a new CEO, Jonathan Chevallier.
Chevallier has extensive experience as a senior commercial business leader for start-ups & mid-sized businesses. He has been an advisor for social enterprises including
Clarity, a soap and toiletries company providing employment to blind and disabled people, and for digital health start-up BfB labs. Previously, he was CEO of medical technology startup Oxeheath.
Since its launch in 2001, Charity Digital has worked with over 32,000 charities across the UK to help good causes achieve more with IT, and has provided over £300 million in income to charities through its
Charity Digital Exchange donation platform.
Chevallier joins Charity Digital as it enters an exciting era of new services for charities, starting with the launch of the
Charity Digital Marketplace - a signposting service for charities to find discounts and deals on a wide range of tech products and services.
Other projects in the pipeline for 2018 include the Charity Digital 101 guide - an online learning and collaboration platform for trustees and senior managers which will supplement the educational content and news delivered through Charity Digital News.
Chevallier said: "I'm really excited to be joining Charity Digital. I'm passionate about the role technology can play in enabling charities to provide their services better, to more beneficiaries and at lower cost. Charity Digital has a long track record of helping charities in this respect and I'm looking forward to working to increase its impact even further."
