As more and more of the population regularly gain access to and use online banking and non contact banking, more and more transactions are collected through direct debit. Direct debit collections are measurably the best method for collecting regular collections as the system is trusted, flexible and safe and promotes considerably better supporter retention than standing orders and credit cards.
