Who we are 

 

Founded in 2004, CTT Charity Payments, trading as CTT payments, is the only UK charity offering an FCA-authorised, low-cost payment solution that ensures more of every ticket sale and donation reaches YOUR charity so you can support your beneficiaries. 

 

As we are not-for-profit, any residual income is reinvested into our parent charity, Charity Digital Trust (Registered charity number 1133179), enabling us to help UK charities to access and use digital technologies safely and cost-effectively via www.charitydigital.org.uk. 

 

 

What we do

 

Charity Digital Payments processes over £22 million of direct debits each year for UK charities, CICS and not-for-profit organisations. We can help your organisation to raise funds efficiently and securely by collecting charitable direct debits for a variety of not-for-profit purposes. 

 

 Since 2004 we helped many charities collect millions of donations and lottery entries through the trusted and safe method of direct debits. As more and more of the population regularly gain access to and use online banking and non contact banking, more and more transactions are collected through direct debit. Direct debit collections are measurably the best method for collecting regular collections as the system is trusted, flexible and safe and promotes considerably better supporter retention than standing orders and credit cards. 

 

We support planned regular giving, as well as specific fundraising campaigns, raffles and lotteries. As well as major charities, our customers include schools, PTAs, foundations, community groups, and others engaging in charitable initiatives.

The right collection solution for your organisation 

 

We are able to provide solutions for charitable and not for profit organisations of all sizes. From simple processing services for small not-for-profits to a complete gateway and processing set-up, we have a solution for you. 

 

Here is an outline of our services: 

 

For the smaller organisation that might be new to direct debits we offer a fully tailored system using our partnership platform. Together with our technology partner Buffalo Fundraising Consultants  with us providing seamless BACS fully compliant Facilities Management services provided this solution will allow you manage your direct debit supporters and provide all of the material and collateral you will need to properly run a compliant service. Our system will: 

  • Provide all the relevant, financial and legal collateral you will need to make direct debit collections 
  • Run collections for lotteries, planned giving or single fund raiser collections 
  • The platform will guide you through the whole supporter collection cycle 
  • Provide reports and other supporter information to aid fundraising activity 
  • Provide links so that you can connect the system to any existing websites you run 

 

Tailored individual access – we offer access to our Direct Debit platform for charities that already have back-office systems that can generate direct debit ready information. Here we can offer very competitive direct debit rates to charities that are cheaper than the general banking market. 

 

Many charities now find lotteries and raffles an essential part of their fundraising activity.  We can help with this and  act in partnership with registered national ELMs 

 

Lotteries & Raffles – a fun and popular fundraising option for many not-for-profits. We partner with specialist providers regulated by the Gambling Commission, to provide a complete solution. We have proven credentials - our biggest charity lottery has nearly 100,000 members using our service.
