In this webinar, finance experts Burgess Hodgson tackle the upcoming changes to the Charities SORP. The session will summarise the new reporting requirements under both the SORP three-tier report system and the intended changes to audit thresholds. It will confirm reporting requirements for different sized charities moving forwards and explore the significant updates to the accounting treatment of items, in particular income recognition and leasing.

And, on top of all of that, the hots will explore the new requirements to the Trustee Report, for definition of reserves, impact reporting, risks, and sustainability.

Attendees will cover, among other things:

  • The level of reporting required under the new regulations
  • The impacts on figures within financial statements
  • The basics of the new Trustee Report requirements
  • How trustees and finance teams should prepare for the transition
  • Best practice advice on next steps to take
