The IASME infographic examines some of the essentials of cyber security, building on information gathered from a recent survey with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and Charity Digital.
The infographic shows that charities are hit by cyber attacks almost as frequently as commercial businesses, emphasising the need for charities to take cyber security seriously.
It shows the broader impact of such attacks, which can lead to, among other things:
The infographic highlights the main threats to charities. It demonstrates that charities need to be particularly aware of ransomware, extortion, email attacks such as phishing, and fake websites and organisations.
The infographic tells charities that they can purchase Cyber Essentials at a discounted price of just £225 +VAT. The Cyber Essentials certification, delivered by the IASME Consortium on behalf of the NCSC, acts as an MOT of sort for your cyber security and helps organisations of all sizes protect themselves against the majority of cyber attacks.
The annual renewal of Cyber Essentials allows you to review your security each year. You will be following a scheme that is naturally updated in line with current threats as deemed necessary by security experts.
