On 21 March 2024, Charity Digital will host in-person workshops that will help charities tackle the most important challenges on the horizon. The workshops will focus on skills-building exercises, practical advice, expert guidance, case studies from across the charity sector, and so much more.
Taking place in person at Resource for London, each session is specifically designed for senior charity professionals and leaders, offering them the exclusive chance to dive into core operational challenges.
Workshops are divided into four key streams: fundraising, marketing, strategy and leadership, and artificial intelligence. Tickets cost just £25 and give you access to two workshops on each theme.

Each workshop will contain interactive elements, allowing charity leaders to learn not only from our expert hosts but also from each other. The in-person workshops will facilitate fruitful, productive, constructive discussions, helping attendees develop skills and prepare for the future.
To ensure attendees get the most out of the sessions, content is aimed at heads of departments or people within charities who possess decision-making power. Workshops are also aimed at charities with an income of more than £1 million per year.

Fundraising stream
Morning session: Fundraising your way through the cost-of-living crisis
Charities struggle to maintain revenue during the cost-of-living crisis, as donors tighten their belts. Diversifying income streams and general ways of working, including products and channels, can help to grow revenue and boost efficiency. We will roleplay as imaginary charities faced with tough choices and work out ways of identifying and making the most of fundraising opportunities.

Marketing stream
Morning session: How your existing marketing tech can supercharge impact
In today’s digital age, non-profits are equipped with a plethora of marketing tech to engage donors, raise awareness, and amplify their mission. But are you truly maximising the potential of the tools you already have? The insightful session will explore unique and innovative marketing strategies and show you precisely how to unlock the full power of existing marketing tech.

Strategy and Leadership stream
Afternoon session: Cyber support for senior leadership teams
Throughout this workshop, the NCSC will provide expert guidance and tools to support senior leadership teams, helping them effectively lead on cybersecurity. They will provide clear takeaways and toolkits on cyber governance and leave attendees feeling confident in tackling cyber crime.
Artificial Intelligence stream
Afternoon session: Charities and AI: What do we need to learn from each other?
As the hype around Generative artificial intelligence (AI) continues, our session explores what benefits it has yielded for the charity sector, how to approach ethical decision-making about the use of AI, and how charities are thinking about the impact of AI on their users and communities.
