#BeMoreDigital Virtual Conference 2021: full agenda announced

In March 2020, we held our second #BeMoreDigital Conference at Olympia London. We were incredibly lucky. The event took place just days before the UK faced the first wave of social distancing restrictions following COVID-19.

 

It’s been a year since then and the charity sector has changed dramatically. Day-to-day operations have moved from offices to online platforms, service delivery has become increasingly digitised, and fundraising has become almost entirely virtual. Charities have adapted to meet the demands of the ‘new normal’. And we at Charity Digital are adapting, too.

 

Our #BeMoreDigital Conference is back for 2021 – and this time it’s virtual.

 

The conference begins on 2 March 2021 and ends on 4 March 2021. It boasts an impressive line-up over the course of three days, with all our speakers and guests focussing on four main themes: Digital Marketing, Digital Strategy, Digital Fundraising, and Digital Service Delivery and Operations.

 

We have 20 sessions, including eight tech-led webinars, nine charity-led webinars, and three exciting panel discussions. All the events take place on Zoom, with networking opportunities held on Remo.

 

We hope to reach as many people as possible, so for 2021 the #BeMoreDigital Virtual Conference is completely free. All you need to do is sign-up. You will then be given access to the event hub, where you can add sessions and view your daily itinerary.

Digital Marketing and Digital Strategy – 2 March 2021

 

The conference kicks off on the morning of 2 March 2021. Our CEO, Jonathan Chevallier, will give an introduction and briefly discuss some of the events of the day.

 

Then you can choose what you’d like to do next. You can decide on the stream. Perhaps you’ll start with the Digital Marketing stream, which has discussions on a range of interesting subjects, including:

• Best practices for digital storytelling
• Top tips to make your digital marketing #BeMoreInclusive
• Constituent experience is king

 

Or perhaps your interest lies with Digital Strategy. There’s lots of events on that stream, too, including:

• The key components in delivering your digital strategy
• Digital transformation for non-profit finance leaders
• Using digital to recruit and manage your volunteers on a budget

Workshops and networking – 3 March 2021

 

On 3 March 2021, we are offering a series of invite-only workshops, with spaces filling up fast.

• What really happens in a cyber attack and how can you protect your charity

If you are unable to join the workshops, worry not. We have a dedicated networking session – Time to network! – from 12:00–13:00. The session will provide you with ample opportunity to meet with your peers, perhaps chat to one of our speakers, or just wonder around our digital networking system.

Digital Fundraising and Digital Service Delivery and Operations – 4 March 2021

 

On 4 March 2021, we offer two more essential streams. The first is Digital Fundraising, which will explore a host of fascinating topics, including:
