Changes to the Charity Digital Exchange

Charity Digital has been home to the Charity Digital Exchange for many years.

But, from 01 July 2025, the product catalogue will transition back to TechSoup UK. Many of the software products you currently purchase through Charity Digital will no longer be available via our website. 

Here we discuss what that means for you and what it means for the future of Charity Digital.

What the changes mean for you

First things first, all eligible charities will still have access to the products. TechSoup, our long-standing partner, will continue to provide many of the same discounted products you’ve relied on over many years. The transition of these services to TechSoup will not impact your existing Exchange account or ability to make purchases.

Our partnership with TechSoup remains strong and both organisations are resolutely committed to ensuring UK non-profits receive access to digital tools and resources.

You can still use Charity Digital to access valuable resources and support, including:

• Incredible content: Our content covers a wide range of topics, from fundraising to grants, from cyber security to artificial intelligence, all of which helps you understand the latest trends, heed the best advice, and advance your charity with the use of digital
• Events, webinars, podcasts, and training videos: These show charity professionals the latest technological thinking and innovation, and offer hands-on, practical advice
• Charity Digital Academy training courses: Our expert-led courses are designed to enhance your skills, on topics ranging from AI to email marketing, with new courses released monthly

And we still offer a selection of software, including some of the following:

• Avast Cyber Security: Award-winning cyber care at charitable rates
• Dotdigital email marketing platform: Exclusive discounts and support
• FCAA Regulated Tailored direct debit solutions: Build donations and lotteries
• Computers 4 Charities: Access a 10% off refurbished hardware

As mentioned above, the Charity Digital Exchange catalogue will be transferred to TechSoup on 01 July 2025.

If you’ve previously made purchases from Charity Digital, you’ll already have a TechSoup UK account set up – you may just need to reset your password on first login after the 01 July. 

From that date forward, you’ll be able to purchase popular products such as Microsoft, Bitdefender, Autodesk, and many others directly from www.techsoup.uk.
