In the wake of COVID-19, digital fundraising is as important as ever. Follow as we re-release crucial content to help your charity fund raise digitally.
Back in November 2019, we hosted our first ever virtual conference: Digital Fundraising Day. A range of charity leaders and digital experts joined us in conversation for a programme of webinars, podcasts and videos highlighting the present and future importance of digital fundraising for charities. With over 1,000 online attendees from charities of all sizes, it was an inspiring day of learning, sharing and insight.
In the wake of COVID-19, the importance of these conversations has only increased. Digital fundraising is crucial to the survival of charities everywhere, as organisations have been forced to adapt to new remote ways of working and fundraising. Many charities are only now beginning this transition into digital with attempts to engage donors and raise funds.
We’re going to be re-releasing some of our content from Digital Fundraising Day for those of you who didn’t make it, with the hope that it will give charities valuable advice, skills and knowledge to help them move forward in their digital fundraising journey throughout COVID-19 and beyond.
For charities experimenting with digital for the first time, it can be difficult to know where to start, what to focus on and how to get the most out of your tools. Our Digital Fundraising Day webinar - ‘A step-by-step guide to using social media to raise funds’ - is a great resource for understanding how to get the most out of social media when it comes to fundraising.
In this webinar, we’re joined by an expert from the Lightful team to take you through the five key aspects of using social media for fundraising. The webinar will equip you with practical advice and steps that can help your charity build social media into your digital fundraising strategy, set objectives and obtain smart goals.
With so many people so active on social media, how can charities harness the power of this and really make social media a key player in their fundraising strategy? How to gauge interest and understand your audience when it comes to social media, as well as tips for running campaigns and measuring impact are just some of the topics covered in this informative webinar, including a case study example and Q&A session.
People everywhere are spending an increased amount of time on their phones. Properly used, social media is easily one of the most useful tools a charity has when it comes to spreading their message and driving donations, both now and always.
